This service is part of a small research project on Turkish word analysis (finding the stem or dictionary form of Turkish words). It uses WhatsApp to ask volunteers short questions about Turkish words and to receive their answers. It is not a commercial service and it does not show ads.

What we collect

• Your WhatsApp phone number, so we can send you questions and match your answers to you.
• The messages you send to this service, such as your answers and commands like STOP.
• Technical records: message times and delivery status.

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, or any other data from your phone.

Why we collect it

Only to run the annotation sessions: send you questions, save your answers, and keep your progress so you can continue later.

Who can see it

• The project team running this study.
• Meta (WhatsApp), because messages travel through WhatsApp. Meta has its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your data. Your phone number is not included in the research records we may share or publish. Your answers about Turkish words may be used in research results.

Where it is stored and for how long

Records are kept in a private database on a computer run by the project team. We keep them for as long as the study needs them, then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices

• Send STOP to the WhatsApp number at any time and we will stop messaging you.
• You can ask us to show or delete the data we hold about you by contacting us below.
• Taking part is voluntary.

Children

This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
